Three of the six parties without current representation in Curaçao’s Parliament trying to participate in the early election on April 28 were able to get enough voter support during a pre-election qualification round last Saturday and Sunday. A total of 6,219 votes, of which five blank and 60 invalid, were cast at the nine polling stations including prison. Making the threshold of 792 votes were PIN (2,660), MKP (1,218), and FOL/PAN (1,124), while DP (603), PUSH (501) and LKKK (113) fell short.
