Kiara was born and raised on Curacao. After high school graduation she moved to the Netherlands, where she received her propaedeutic diploma in International Psychology at the University of Leiden. However, she decided to pursue an education in Business and Economics and chose to do so at the University of Curacao. In her third and final year, Kiara was granted the opportunity to do her internship at BearingPoint Caribbean. She started out as a Tester where she gained first-hand experience with the applications built by the company. After Kiara finished her internship she started her career as a consultant at BearingPoint Caribbean.
