With us since 2019

Dénie (LL.M.) was born and raised in the Netherlands. During her bachelor Fiscal Economics, she had her first work experience in the Caribbean as a tax intern at one of the Big Four accounting firms on Curaçao. After the internship, she knew she would like to return to Curaçao if given the chance.  Back in Amsterdam she started working at another Big Four accounting firm and finished her master Tax Law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Upon graduating she was offered to come back to Curaçao and work as a tax advisor. During her career, she has gained extensive experience in Dutch, European and former Dutch Caribbean tax legislation. She was involved with tax advisory, tax due diligence projects and tax compliance services. Longing for developing other personal qualities and skills, Dénie joined BearingPoint Caribbean as of May 2019. In our team, she continues her career as a Consultant focusing on business analysis.
