Part of this process is to continuously evaluate quality results, initiating improvements where and when applicable. Managing, and exceeding, customer expectations from a quality perspective in a scalable manner concerns a major driver for the company. From an external standard perspective, BearingPoint is both ISO9001 (Quality in general) and ISO27001 (Information Security) certified for the company is therefore internationally recognized to be fully compliant with these quality standards.

These standards relate to BearingPoint’s internal standard, international standards, agreements with our customers and suppliers and applicable governmental laws and regulations. In order to maintain the foremost international standard for Quality Management, BearingPoint adheres to the internationally acknowledged ISO9001 quality standard and is officially certified.

This makes information security management vital for the efficient conduct of business. In order to maintain the highest standards of information security, BearingPoint adheres to the relevant ISO27001 security standard and is officially certified.
This standard includes a number of policies and measures to protect information technology assets, such as computer hardware and software, telecommunications equipment and data held within the IT systems. The ISO27001 standard is an auditable international standard which defines requirements for the management of information security. The standard has been developed to control business risks through adequate and proportionate security controls.
